Green Tea – The antioxidants contained in green tea not only ward off harmful external influences on the skin, but can also help prevent inflammation that occurs with impure skin. Overall, however, green tea can be used for beauty care on all skin types. And since sometimes you can’t quite understand what the individual ingredients in creams and co. from the store and DIY think it’s great, today I’m going to show you simple DIY recipes for your skin care with green tea!

Green Tea And Honey.

After cutting open the sachet, pour the contents of the sachet into a small bowl. Add some honey. The face must be clean and the mixture is applied to the face. Leave on for about ten minutes and then wash off. Voila! A fresh and fast mask that gives your face a boost!

Toner.

A toner tightens your skin and minimizes visible pores. A combination of rose water and green tea will do the trick.

Make or buy rose water. Rose water is gentle on the skin but effectively cleanses and protects the skin from impurities.

Heat the rose water and when it is hot add a sachet of[green tea]. Let the tea steep for a few minutes while the water gently boils.

Shake into a bottle and let cool. Use the cooled mixture to tighten the skin.

This is also very effective for giving your skin a quick boost in the morning and reducing puffiness!

Green Tea Scrub

You need:

1 tsp green tea (e.g. from the bag or loose)

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp olive oil

First grind the tea in a mortar to give it a powdery consistency. Mix 1 teaspoon with 2 teaspoons each of sugar and olive oil to form a homogeneous mass. The sugar ensures that old skin cells are removed, while the olive oil provides a lot of moisture, especially for dry skin. Gently rub the scrub into your face (or hands or body) and then rinse off with plenty of warm water.

Green Tea Face Mask

You need:

1 tsp [green tea](e.g. from the bag or loose)

1 tsp coconut oil

1 tbsp honey

The mask complements your peeling perfectly! Mix the ingredients into a mass. If needed, you can microwave the mask for a few seconds to help the oil melt and mix better with the honey and tea. Apply the mask to your face, evading the eye area. Also, After 10 proceeding minutes you can rinse off the mask with warm water. The coconut oil and honey in combination with the [green tea] ensure soft, well-groomed skin!
